Technical Lead Referrals - CaSIPO Programme

Angela Make holds diploma's in Comprehensive Nursing Science, and Intensive Care Science.

She also has certificates in Advanced Health Care Program Management, Social Entrepreneurship, Business Writing Skills, and Monitoring and Evaluation.

Other health related certificates includes, HIV and AIDS Management, Counselling, Dispensing, Facilitation, Assessor and Moderator. Angela has also attended a number of local and international conferences.

Her work experience comes from working in the private sector as a critical nurse and as a health service manager for a non profit organisation in Metsweding district.

Angela has worked extensively with the Department of Health, assisting them in mentoring DOH funded non-profit organisations by building their capacity and ensuring that they comply with the requirements of the funding.

She has worked as a Palliative Care Development Officer where her duties included organisational development, governance and leadership, strategic planning and management, risk and quality improvement.

She was a convener of the progressive women movement which is focused on uplifting the lives of women in the Metsweding district. The main objective is economic growth and skill development, and to reduce gender based violence.

Angela is an advisor and resource person for the South African Care Giver Grass Roots Alliance, which includes 11 African countries aiming to develop leadership and recognition for their contribution. She also represented grassroots women in Kenya and London to support them in becoming part of decision making.

Presently, she is involved with De Beer mining and their CSI project to build capacity of organisations they are funding, to promote sustainability of the grassroots organisation.

She is working on the CaSIPO project as a Technical Lead Referral where she is responsible for the objective 3: Retention & referral - access to a continuum of high quality CCS-PC services and reducing loss to follow-up
