Enrollment for Palliative Nursing Care is now open for 2016
During the Disability Pride parade that took place last week on Thursday the 3rd of December, we had the chance of having a chat with an amazing man who should be an example to all of those who feel they have been ‘hard done by’ in life.
As we continue to focus on people living with disabilities this week, we would like to share the amazing talent performed at the Cape Town Stadium on the 3 December 2015.
"Inclusion Matters: Access and empowerment of people of all abilities" was the theme for the International Day for Persons with Disabilities which was celebrated on the 3 December 2015 at Cape Town stadium, South Africa.
World Hospice and Palliative Care Day has taken place and to commemorate this occasion Dr. Sindi talks to CEO of Hospice Palliative Care Association Dr Liz Gwyther, who provides the facts surrounding the future of palliative care in our country and worldwide.
The theme for this year's Hospice Week, 3 to 10 May, is " Passion for Compassion". The aim for this week is to demonstrate compassion in communities and to reflect on the compassionate care that hospice workers provide for patients and their families.
